Tubing the Blackfoot River – August 1st, 2016

On a tip from some locals, we decided to take a day off from hiking and let the river do the work. After camping on BLM land, we rented some tubes and floated the Blackfoot River. LOVED IT! It was mostly a slow stroll down the river, but there were a few rapids. Andy’s pasty legs got sunburned, but other than that we survived unscathed.
